“Psych,” one of USA Network’s most popular shows, is set to return to the small screen.

The original cast and creator are reuniting for a two-hour holiday film called “Psych: The Movie,” the network announced Monday.

“‘Psych’ is a beloved part of our USA family, and what better time to reunite with family than the holidays,” said Chris McCumber, President of Entertainment Networks for NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment, which owns USA.

“Psych,” created by Steve Franks, starred James Roday as Shawn Spencer, revolved around a fake psychic detective who helps the police solve crimes. In actuality, he and his best friend Burton “Gus” Guster (Dulé Hill) use honed observational skills which can convince people that his powers are supernatural.

“Steve and James have taken the unique brand of comedy that the series honed over eight seasons and packed it in to a two-hour movie that successfully rekindles one of the greatest bro-mances in television history,” McCumber continued.

Cast members Lassiter (Timothy Omundson), Juliet (Maggie Lawson), Henry (Corbin Bernsen) and Chief Vick (Kirsten Nelson) are also set to return with Franks directing.

The TV movie will pick up three years after the 2014 series finale and an eight-season run. Details are vague, but the gang will reunite after a mysterious assailant targets one of their own. Viewers should also expect other fan-favorites to return.
