The suits on “Suits” are in a lot of trouble, and star Gina Torres doesn’t seem optimistic that they’ll get away with pulling one over on people as well as they have in the past.
As the back half of Season 5 of the USA drama continues, fallout continues after Mike (Patrick J. Adams) was finally being outed for his fake lawyering and put behind bars in the midseason finale.
“Jessica’s not happy that Mike got caught because there are all kinds of implications,” Torres told Stuart Brazell during a new episode of TheWrap’s “Drinking With the Stars.” “But I think Suitors and newcomers alike, you’ll love it, you have been waiting for a long time for this, and let’s see if we can get out of it.”

Torres also addressed how her character and Gabriel Macht’s alpha-lawyer Harvey seem to get away with everything.
“I honestly don’t know how we do it,” she said. “I’m pretty amazed that we get away with as much as we get away with. Between Mike’s genius and Harvey’s swagger and Jessica’s chess game, at the end of every season we just narrowly miss it…. Yeah, I don’t think that’s going to happen this season.”

Torres also discussed where she wants Jessica to end up in the series finale. Of course, that’s a long ways off since the show has already been renewed for a Season 6.
“Suits” airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET on USA.
